Food And Addiction
This CNN article entitled "What Milk Shakes Teach Us About Food Addiction" reports on recent research indicating that food triggers the same brain areas that other addictions (alcohol, drugs or gambling) do. The research explore the glycemic index and how that triggered the response in the brain. What do you think this research means for people who want to lose weight?
