This NY Times Well Blog entitled "
Parents' Depression Linked to Problems in Children" discusses research revealing that when parents are depressed, children are at higher risk for poor school performance, increased visits to the ER, poor peer relationships and depression in adolescence. How should physicians, OB/GYNs and pediatricians be monitoring parental mood? What would the best interventions be for parents?
