Washington Post article, "Research links poor children's stress, brain impairment." Article describes how stress in children of low SES families appears to have a negative impact on a specific brain function -- working memory. Does the results of this study appear to support a nature or nurture argument for working memory? How could we support children in lower SES families who have high stress levels?
